I announced at the beginning of the month that I’ll be taking part in a really cool little project care of Leesta Vall Sound Recordings in Brooklyn NY!

I’ll be making some 7” records with Leesta Vall as part of their Direct-To-Vinyl Live Sessions project. These are single recordings, no copies, no reprints, one-off performances of a song of your choice for you and you alone!

You choose a song from the list, I perform it live, Leesta Vall cuts a record in real time, then sends you your very own, personal, one of a kind, 7” record of that performance, complete with an audio message from me to you. They call it an audio Polaroid, and I have to agree that that’s an apt analogy.

I do however…write a lot of songs. The list that you can choose from is quite long. Because of that, starting on Monday, I’ll be posting daily short videos throughout the summer of bits and pieces of the songs on the list that aren’t already released. (And probably some that are!) I’m on a lot of social platforms. I’ll be posting to TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Mastodon, so if you follow me on any of those platforms you should be able to find these videos.

I’m super stoked to be doing this. I have records from OrangeG and Liss Victory that were recorded this way and they are among the coolest band merch in my collection.

I can’t wait to record these songs for you!
